In the area of engineering mechanics Bartlett-Carver and Associates, Inc. is ready to provide you with static and dynamic analyses of mechanical, structural, electromechanical, and electronics systems.

Analysis results typically include but are not limited to:

• Stress contour plots and tabular listings
• Displacement and part deflection contour plots and tabular listings
• Natural frequencies and mode shape plots including animations
• High and low cycle fatigue life prediction for structures and electronics
• Vibration response
• Shock response
• Margin of safety calculations

Applied structural loading conditions typically include but are not limited to:

• Concentrated and distributed force
• Pressure
• Induced displacement
• Thermal gradient
• Inertial (gravity and acceleration load)
• Inertial relief loading (air vehicle, free-free boundary conditions)
• Random vibration PSD
• Harmonic oscillation
• Mechanical shock
• Time and frequency varying loads
• Acoustic noise

Analyses are performed using detailed modeling techniques employing finite element models and/or classical theoretical solutions (hand calculations) . Detailed models utilize FEA computer codes such as NASTRAN and ANSYS to obtain solutions.

FEA models can be constructed through the import of CAD solid model geometry or from detailed descriptions or drawings.
